These visits can be for new conditions, routine check-ups and vaccinations, as well as monitoring of chronic diseases and illnesses. Our home visit consultations include a nose to tail health check, discussion of relevant history and administration/dispensing of medications where necessary. Add-on services such as nail clips, anal gland expression and microchipping can be added to your consultation booking.
Vaccinations:
We offer initial vaccination courses for puppies and kittens, as well as yearly health checks and booster vaccinations for dogs and cats, including kennel cough for dogs and rabies vaccinations if required for travelling
Monthly Arthritis Injections:
We can come to your home to administer you cat’s Solensia injection or your dog’s Librela injection; much less stressful than a monthly vet visit!
Microchipping:
Microchipping is now a legal requirement for cats as well as dogs, and we can do this for you within the comfort of your own home
Diagnostics & Minor Procedures:
We offer a wide range of diagnostic and minor surgical services aimed at providing comprehensive care for your pet. Here's an overview of the procedures available; individual estimates are available following examination of your pet:
Diagnostic Procedures:
We are equipped to perform a variety of diagnostic tests, which include:
Blood Tests: To assess organ function, check for infections, and monitor health conditions.
Urinalysis: To detect urinary tract issues, kidney function, or signs of systemic disease.
Faecal Analysis: For detecting parasites, infections, or digestive problems.
Skin Analysis: To diagnose dermatological conditions such as infections, allergies, or skin parasites.
Ear Swabs: For identifying ear infections or parasitic infestations.
Histopathology: To examine tissue samples for signs of disease, infection, or cancer.
Minor Surgical Procedures:
We are equipped to carry out a variety of minor surgical procedures, including:
Cat castration (subject to the vet's discretion, where appropriate)
Small wound repairs
Skin biopsies for diagnostic purposes
Treatment of aural haematoma
Ultrasonography (Coming Soon):
We are working toward offering ultrasonography for more advanced imaging needs. This will allow us to perform detailed scans of internal organs, which is invaluable in diagnosing conditions such as tumours, fluid buildup, or heart disease. We aim to have this service available in the near future.
